Dennis Lee Shriver, Jr was born in Corona, California on January 21, 1955, with his twin sister Lettie. He passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 70. The family moved to Olympia in his high school years where Lee was on
the school’s wrestling team. He started a career in the grocery business, working several years before being hired to teach at Bates Technical College.
Lee had many adventures on the back of his Goldwing motorcycle with Eagles’ music playing in his ears. He was a loyal fan of the Seahawks and loved snow skiing, water skiing, hunting and fishing.
Lee is survived by his wife Julie Shriver; brother John Shriver (Veronica) and sisters Lettie “Ree” Arnold (Lee) and Lisa Brining (Jeri); son Christopher Shriver; daughters Michelle Kinberg (Matt) and Cheryl Morris and his amazing
grandchildren: Austin, Cooper, Julia, and Donovan. He was pre-deceased by his parents Dennis “Denny” Shriver and Lettie Shriver.
