Janice Marilyn Littlesun

Janice "Jan" Marilyn Littlesun, 83, of Shelton, Washington, passed away peacefully in her home on August 25, 2026.

Born in Seattle to James Jorgenson and Kathryn Kenreigh, Jan lived a vibrant life defined by her sharp wit, dry humor, and deep devotion to her family. She served for many years as the bookkeeper for the Shelton Senior Center, taking immense pride in her work and the community she helped support. Jan also gave back through her volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, and she cherished her time with the Red Hat Society, always smiling with immense pride whenever she shared those fond memories.

She is survived by her loving husband, Austin Littlesun, who cared for her with unwavering devotion, staying by her side throughout her illness to ensure she was deeply loved and comforted; her children, Robert Kracke and Shawn Kracke; her stepchildren, Cheyne (Moses),Shiloh (Maria), Chale (Tasha), Shusden (Anna), Chaleina, and Shantaya (Jeff) Littlesun; as well as 27 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her brothers, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, special friends, and loved ones. The family extends their deepest apologies to any friends or extended family they may have inadvertently missed; Jan held so many people close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her siblings, and her daughter, Tiffany Proudy.

A memorial service and wake will be held at the Littlesun residence on September 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will take place the following day, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at .the Shelton Memorial Cemetery.
