Mom does not have Alzheimer's Disease anymore and she is most assuredly happier now than ever before! For the information of anyone who sees this tribute I will add:
My father and Mom's beloved husband, Eugene C. "Gene" Morehouse died on August 27, 2010 at Fir Lane Care Center in Shelton. McComb's Funeral Home provided outstanding service to our family in the absence of any burial policy.
My sister, Lola and her husband, Lynn Curtis carried Dad's ashes back here to Casper, Wyoming in 2011. Along with other family and friends, we had a graveside service near Alcova, Wyoming on top of a hill overlooking the North Platte River at a longstanding ranch country cemetery on April 16th, 2011. Beside Dad's official veteran's headstone honoring his World War II and Korean War service in the U. S. Navy with wind-blown U. S. flags waving, we shared our memories of his life.
Sometime in the future at that same beautiful location, we will place Mom's ashes beside Dad's and have another memorial service.
