Obituary of Sarah Kirsten Yohe

Sarah Kirsten Yohe, a faithful servant, went with the Lord Jesus Christ after suffering a massive asthma attack. She was born in Creston, Iowa to Dean and Connie Yohe on May 11, 1981. She is survived by her father, Dean Yohe and his wife Nikki, Mother, Connie Yohe: brothers, Adam, Jacob, and Christopher Yohe, sisters, Maggie, Heidi, Courtney, Hannah, Savannah, Abigail and Aaramee Yohe, as well as seven nieces, and eleven cousins. She is also survived by her fiance, Dennis Hallman, and four stepchildren, Ryley, Richie, Jaden and Kylar Hallman. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Mary Yohe, and grandmother, Joyce Suesons. Sarah was raised in Longview, Washington and graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1999. She was a gifted athlete in volleyball and on a state softball championship team. During her adolescence she was involved and participated in several activities including: church, youth group, and camp. She made a profound impact in all that she did. After earning her Associates degree and playing volleyball and softball at Lower Columbia College, she moved near her family in Flagstaff, Arizona where she earned a Bachelors degree in Spanish and Nutrition. As part of her Bachelors degree in Spanish, Sarah attended Mexico University in Mexico City as an exchange student where she studied for one year. Sarah traveled the world. She lived in Thailand, Germany and she visited over 20 different countries. Throughout her travels she was resourceful, loving, compassionate, and she deepened her tenderhearted approach to people who were suffering and to those in need. She gave her time and money to those in need. Being that she was highly educated and well-traveled, she bolstered her gift for love and compassion to people of all classes, cultures, religions and races. She treated all of humanity like her own family. Her knowledge of the world was incredibly deep and therefore her ability to relate to all people was unparalleled. In addition to her post secondary education, as well as her breakthroughs on humanity and cultures, she was a certified holistic healer, certified physical fitness trainer, firedancer, life coach, teacher, spanish translator, certified mixed martial arts and boxing second, as well as nutritionist, visualization, goal setting, and meditation coach for professional MMA athletes at Victory Athletics. Sarah was a bright light who saw and loved every person she encountered. Sarah could only see light. Sarah was able to forgive everyone and anyone with no strings attached. She lived each day with compassion, love, empathy and concern for others. She saw only the good in her family, friends and strangers. She was able to find people’s gifts, hone in on those gifts, and articulate a vision for them. She made every person she knew feel like the most important person in the world. She had an intense passion and magnetic energy that drew everyone to her. She brought her family together, was their leader, peacemaker, caretaker, and gave her time and money for their happiness. She did the same with her friends. Sarah motivated everybody she knew to find their spiritual gifts and use them. Sarah was a very spiritual person, and since she had a deep empathy for people who suffered, she was saddened by anyone’s pain. As a result, she gave everything she had, even herself, to alleviate their suffering. Sarah loved Jesus and was a follower of him. She demonstrated the teachings of Jesus with her actions and heart. If people walk like Sarah they will walk like Jesus. Sarah went with the Lord and is awaiting her family and friends. While her family and friends are devastated by their tragic loss, God has used her passing for her to give five people her heart and organs to save their lives and heal their families. Anybody who knew Sarah knows that her radiant light is the brightest and will shine on for eternity.
