Obituary of Daniel Grant Brown

Daniel Grant Brown, born in Miles City Montana April 21, 1940, passed away Oct 30 2013. Was preceded in death by father Daniel M. Brown, mother Lela M. Thomas Brown, and sister Sandra L. Brown. He is survived by wife Ruth Ann Brown, daughter Judette L. Moe, granddaughter Kayla M Moe, sister Sharon Rabtoy and brother Clifford F. Brown. Graduated Custer County High School in Miles City Montana and City University in Bremerton Washington. He worked as a police officer for five years and in 1963 married Ruth Ann Gunderson. In 1972 he returned to the Navy and made it a career. He spent the next 40 years going from west coast to east coast, on land and sea, and had one tour in Italy. He retired in 1997 and moved to Shelton Washington to be closer to his daughter and family and spent the next 17 years enjoying being grandpa.
