I have known Lynn for many years having met her through a friend. She was a loyal, honest, compassionate friend. I will always remember her for selfless acts of kindness. Lynn will be deeply missed for her sense of humor and quick wit, her love of nature and especially the ocean and the forest, and animals. My prayers are with her family and friends in this time of loss.

I met Lynn when I started working for the Dept of Agriculture in 1998. I was hired in fertilizer registration where Lynn was the expert on registration and I learned more from her about what it took to get the job done right the first time more than anyone else. She was always there with a big smile on her face and helpful in so many ways to the new rookie on the block. Lynn was able to make my job so much easier knowing I had a real friend there to help me learn the ropes and become effective.
I learned real quick there was a way to take the smile off her face... don't whistle when a listening to music. It was the one thing she was quick to give me that "you know I can't stand that look" if I started to whistle. But she did that it a fun way. I didn't whistle while listening to the radio.
When I retired I told Lynn that I was going to really miss her smile because no matter how tough things got, she had the big smile on her face.
