I remember when Sue died (Marylin's daughter, my sister-in-law) Marylin was sitting at Duke and Sue's dining room table and I was kneeling before her trying to comfort her.
She said a daughter should never die before her Mom and I remember telling her that God needed another Guardian Angel in Heaven so Angel Sue would be watching over all of us until it was our time to join her in Heaven. She was such a wonderful lady and will be missed by the few Young family that is left.

Marylin was a woman with a loving, kind heart. In High School, she was involved in many things; Glee club, plays, student council, chairman of assemblies, choir, drama club... Even was in the Hall of Fame. She was known as " the little girl with the big ideas"
She worked as a hair dresser and volunteered at the ambulance corp. along with PenYan's local thrift store. Marylin loved taking a chance by gambling once in awhile and getting together with the High School girls once a month for lunch.
As giving as Marylin was, she was not so giving when it came to her sweet tooth. She looked forward to my chocolate's every year when I shipped them to her. We talked and told her there is plenty to share with your friends. She laughed and said she was keeping them all to herself. It was the same with coffee for awhile.
I am grateful to have had Marylin in my life for so many years and to have had these last 4 years where we bonded even more. Grandma, you will be missed dearly and held forever in my heart.
I LOVE YOU! May you Rest in Peace and live life again.
Your Grand-daughter, Teri

I was so sorry to hear that Marylin had passed away. I feel comforted that she was with her family, who loved her dearly and took such good care of her in her final years. I will fondly remember the good times and many outings for lunch that Marylin and I shared. With heartfelt sympathy for Marylin's family - Marylin's friend - Ellen
