I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis' passing. I spoke to her only once on the phone for about an hour back in August, but I enjoyed talking with her so very much about our family history.
She was so engaging and positive, in spite of what sounded like a fairly serious health condition; yet, she was not worried, as she said she had led a very full life. She hoped I would come visit her the next time I travelled to the area and I told her I would make a point to do so. I regret that I won't have the chance to meet her in person but I'm glad to have had the chance to to get to talk with her.
I hope that whenever my time comes, I can be as gracious and thankful for a full life as she was. May God bless her and she rest in peace.
My condolences to Michael & Margaret and their children and all of Phyllis' family.
