Our family met Don at the I-5 Quarter Midget club where our daughter raced. We shared a love of auto racing and an interest in seeing girls get a fair shake at competition. Don sponsored Ariel's racing program from 2008-2015. He traveled with us, ate with us, worked with us and celebrated with us from racing events to family holidays Don was a welcome friend. What he has given to our family through his generosity and friendship cannot be measured. Though we are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of our dear friend, we are determined to keep his spirit with us as we endeavor to honor his memory in our shared passion for girls in motor-sports. Love Always and Godspeed - The Biggs Family

Don loved racing and even more loved seeing the kids have fun racing. He was a fixture at the track, and many looked forward to visiting with him on race days. He was my daughter, Samantha Stevens's, sponsor this last season, and he was our friend. Jared (my son) and Don spent a lot of time talking racing at our trailer and watching the action trackside. I know he will be missed by many at I-5 as well as Grays Harbor Raceway. <3

Don,,, second in from the right....wow what a guy. Don came up to me and started talking at the track on the second to the last race of the season like normal we talked a bit and he stated that there sure has been a lot of wrecks with kids getting sore necks the last few races, I said yes there has been. Don asked if skyler has a hans device for her neck. I said no, just the standard equipment required. ( for you non racers out there the hans device is a neck safety device that from nascar on down use but is very very expensive) the last race of the season Don walks up to me and handed me a box and smiled and said get this on her helmet. I opened it up and there was a brand new hans device for skyler. He said he wants her to be safe. as I am writing this I am getting teary eyed. what a guy... I dont know what to say except thank you Don and I am already missing you coming over to visit. you will be missed, and for all the kids you helpt out over the years God Bless.
