Mike Malpass was the Sgt. in Evergreen Hall at the Washington Correction and I was an officer there with him...we had a good team and accomplished a lot under his command. Mike always had a smile on his face and was happy to see you...he loved a good joke...I met his father on one of his trips here to visit Mike..he was a jolly chap...Rest in Peace my friend...keep the soccer ball rolling in heaven Julie Lofgren

We met Mike about 6 years ago through a soccer clinic in Washington. We enjoyed his company and his sense of humor, and especially his attempts at an American accent. Our family will miss him very much. RIP Coach Mike.

I worked at the Washington State Correction Center with Mike . He was a Corrections Officer there. He had a great sense of humor and loved to play harmless pranks on fellow staff. I am saddened to hear of his passing away.
