Obituary of Bonnie Lee Wilson

Bonnie was born July 1, 1931, to Fredrecia and Leland Strong in Portland, Oregon. She attended many schools, most importantly St. Helens Hall in Portland. Bonnie graduated from Camas, Washington High School, all the time achieving being president of Girls League with national honors. She attended the University of Oregon and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Bonnie moved to Seattle, Washington and worked for the Northwest region of World Book Encyclopedia as assistant to the manager. She met and married Don Wilson who worked for Western Electric Co. After the birth of their children, Bonnie became a full-time mother of two boys, Matthew and Ned. In 1965, they moved to Shelton, Washington. There, they purchased a business, Shelton Hardware and Ferguson Flowers. She became a successful and talented florist. Bonnie was a founding member of Mason General Hospital Auxiliary and a volunteer since 1989. Bonnie was blessed with a marriage of 62 years and leaves a loving family; husband Don, children Matthew, Ned and his wife Sheri, their son Jacob and his love Saisha. The last two years she was combating lung cancer. Bonnie was brave and determined but lost the battle April 20, 2017.
