Obituary of Mark Alan Johnson

Mark Alan Johnson, 60, of Port Townsend - beloved son, father and brother - passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, at the Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA. Mark was born in Gardena, CA, to Charles Owen Johnson and Barbara Jean Johnson on June 6, 1956. He grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley, CA and attended college in Santa Barbara, CA where he met his previous wife Kathleen and was blessed with 3 wonderful sons: Chrioni, Elijah and Caleb – all previous citizens of Port Townsend as was his mother, Barbara. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Charles Owen Johnson. Mark is survived by his three sons Chrioni Johnson of Montana; Elijah and family Tessa, Fiona and Harold Johnson of Montesano, WA; Caleb and family Jacklyn and Owen Johnson of Aberdeen, WA, his mother Barbara Johnson of Monterey, CA; his sisters Erica Murray of Rockdale, New South Wales, Australia, and Rebecca Moore of Monterey, CA; cousin, Rae Crenshaw – also of Port Townsend. Friends are invited to a memorial service for Mark to be held on Thursday, June 15 at 1:00 PM at New Life Church, 1636 Hastings Ave, Port Townsend, with Pastor Bill Wolf officiating.
