Obituary of Robert John Bellinghausen

Robert John Bellinghausen, age 89, left this world on June 27 for his new life. Bob was born on January 14, 1928, in Colton Washington to William and Bertha Bellinghausen. He was a 1946 graduate of IreneS. Reed high school. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Thorpe Blondin in 1947 at SaintEdwards Church in Shelton. Bob's career in the meat industry took the family to Olympia, Wenatchee, Spokane, Yakima and back to Lake Limerick for retirement. He is survived by his wife of 70-years, Shirley; children Steven Bellinghausen, Sandra Smith, Paula Charbonneau, Theresa Torseth and Jeffrey Bellinghausen; ten grandchildren; sixteengreat grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, at 11:00 at Saint Edwards Catholic Church, 601 W C Street, Shelton.
