I have known Sue for 45 years. She has been a wonderful mentor and friend. I worked with her in American Field Service when foreign exchange students were brought to Shelton from other countries. In 1988 I filled in on the organ for Sue at Faith Lutheran Church when she had to be out on medical leave. A short time later the organist position became permanent and I was there for 12 years. Sue always was willing to help me learn the liturgical portions of the service. I also admire Sue for her love for God and her very dedicated time for morning worship, which she was doing when she passed. Her love for the Middle East and her endless efforts to bring peace to that region are more adventures for which she is to be remembered. It is very hard to put into a few short sentences what this lady has meant to me for 45 years. She will be greatly missed and each day will dawn a little more gray without her sweet smile to bring sunshine and laughter to the world.
