Obituary of Wesley Richard Dreger

WESLEY “WES” RICHARD DREGER SUNRISE 12/03/1960 SUNSET 08/01/2017 Wesley Richard Dreger, 56 of Olympia, WA passed away on Tuesday August 1st 2017 at Providence St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, WA. Wes was a very compassionate and humorous person who always helped others any way he could and took pride in being a hard worker all his life. Wes met his soulmate Diane Streeter when they both were teenagers and later married in 1986. Nothing meant more to him than his family, well… besides FISHING! Wes was a dedicated father and nothing filled his heart with more joy then being a papa to his 21 grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren! He loved to make people smile and he himself had a smile that was contagious to all. He is truly loved and will forever be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. Wes is survived by his Wife of 40 years Diane Dreger, Son Geoffrey (Shellie) Dreger, Son Shawn (David) Bryson, Son Joshua (Lisa) Dreger, Son Joseph (Kelli) Dreger, Daughter Tonya (Dan) Lonergan, Sister Julie (Fred) Frost, Brother David (Gloria) Dreger, Brother Will (Lesley) Dreger, Sister Robin (Stuart) Sherman, Brother Brian Genson and is preceded in death by his parents Walt Dreger and Eleanor Dunn. There will be a private celebration of life for family and close friends in Olympia, WA on August 26th 2017.
