Growing up with Dick in Hoquiam was in the best of times. Just coming out the depression 1937, '38, '39 his dad had a job, my dad had a job we were quite fortunate in many ways. In 1939 the Oltmans got a NEW Pontiac Chieftan and I thought WOW!!! they must really be rich...have all the money in the world especially when they took it to the
San Francisco Worlds Fair. etc.,etc.I could go on as I have many FOND memories grow up with Dick. I will miss him Stan Johannes
