We have never met Maureen, but have heard so much about her from her son, Christopher and our daughter Kristin. Kristin and children, Elissa and Austin, enjoyed her hospitality and were looking forward to spending more time with her at the lake We were looking forward to meeting her in the future. Our prayers are with her family.

Mickey and Wayne were wonderful neighbors to all the Nicklaus's for many years, always there with any help they could offer, always with a smile and an open door. They are missed greatly and remembered always so very fondly.

I met Mickey at our Bible Study Group about 6 yrs. ago. It wasn't long before she became a special friend. Mickey had a way of making people feel good about themselves. She was such a soft-spoken, sweet lady. I miss her dearly and will for many days to come. Rest in peace, dear Mickey. My condolences to her family.

Mickey, you will definitely be missed by all the members of the Altar Society. Your expertise in values of donated items for our rummage sales and bazaar will be hard to replace. Most of all, you will be missed for yourself. You have been a super nice person and caring about others.

The family would like to let everyone know that there will TWO masses, a burial, and a Celebration of Life party, and everyone is welcome to all events.
First, on February 7 at St. Edward Church in Shelton, we will have a Rosary at 11:30am, a Mass at 12 noon, and a reception immediately following at the church.
The second event is on February 22: another Mass at St. Edward Church, followed by burial of the cremains at the Shelton Memorial Park at 11:30am, then a Celebration of Life party, including lunch, at the Shelton Civic Center. The addresses for these events are in the flyer that is posted on the Photos and Videos tab.
