I have many fond memories of working at Hoodsport Winery and getting to know Dick and Peggy. I had always loved their wines and felt lucky to be a part of the winery they built. They were very generous and welcoming. Dick was such a warm, fun, and lovable person. He always had some joke or a clever way of looking at a situation. I was very lucky that he shared his knowledge from decades of winemaking as one of the pioneers of the Washington wine industry.
