Georgie was the closest person I had to a positive male role figure. He taught me many things like how to play football, use his shop tools, and change the oil and filter on a car. He even let me help him at his landscaping business at a fair wage.
Georgie always made me feel like family. In many ways he was like an older brother teaching me the ways of life and in others he was like a father giving me advice. I didn’t always agree with some of his point of views but I also never felt left out when he was around
I will miss “uncle� Georgie. I wish I took the time to tell him how much he meant to me, how special he was to my youth, but more importantly how I never stoped thinking of him.
“Uncle� Georgie, your caring heart and big-brother-like personality will be missed by the many people you’ve connected with through out the years including me.
