To read of George's passing feels sad. It was always a pleasure to run into George in Safeway or the post office or anywhere. The Southside School bus driver and custodian during the early to mid 1960s when I was going to grade school there. He was always cheerful and asked how I and family were doing when we encountered each other. He would occasionally get after me in a good natured way if he thought I was off the beam somehow. All my memories of him are pleasant and he will not be forgotten by me. A lovely person we got to enjoy for 95+ years. Rest In Peace, Mr. George Snyder.
