You will surely be missed Lowell. The get togethers at the canal on the 4th won't be the same. We are glad you are not struggling anymore. I can imagine the party you are having with your wonderful mother Tillie, your fabulous brother Jim, your beautiful niece Linda, and your young great nephew Brandon. Until we meet again know that you were very loved and appreciated. We love you, The Jarvis Clan.

I almost do not remember not knowing Lowell. Growing up in and very close to being around Hoodsport ( since 1936 ) Lowell was always one of the older kids that put up with us younger ones. One thing special I member was Lowell and some of the older boys built a toboggan (sled) out of 2x12's that would seat about 6 or 8 of us kids and towed us on the Cushman road behind what ever car was available at the time. Although I haven't seen Lowell for a few years I remember him as always being one of the BIG KIDS that would look after us younger ones. He always had time for us. He helped to make those days THOSE DAYS.
Signed , Leslie (Bill) , depending on how long you knew me, Robbins from up Finch Creek (now in Shelton). The last house up the creek (unless you went way way up the creek) with a painted blue roof for a few years.

I remember Lowell and Uncle Jim putting an OLD 22HP Johnson outboard on a lite weight flat bottom skiff that was about 8-9 feet long and skimming across the canal mostly on the propeller - it really hauled the freight and would lurch to the right whenever it would climb up on the prop. I remember "DOUBLETIME" and the huge wake it made at skiing speeds for us to try to jump - I also remember the huge shrimp trap you guys built(seems it was 4-5 feet across) and on the 4th of July trying to get one of your 400 foot rockets to land in a passing motorcraft - most recently will miss having you around to get my historic trivia questions about Hoodsport correctly answered whenever I would see you - Peace be with you Lowell - You will be missed - Ken and Judy Simons
