The night she went into labor she tried so hard to show she was in control and ok to the extent that she wanted to fix and eat food before going to the hospital. :) I had to sternly say “Elizabeth (she had always been Liz)—get into the car now!� She gave birth to such a precious baby girl! But, like many first time mothers, she was a frightened little girl who had to step up like an adult.
