I worked for Rudy for five years in the late 60s while I attending high school. I was the cleanup boy. Rudy gave me a key to the business so I could go to high school , play sports and be able to work at night. The money I saved allowed me to go to college. Forever grateful to Rudy. Rest in peace you will always be in my memories.

i spent 1962 to 1968 with rudy in the national guard, I was a cook , and he was our baker Rudy really made the mealtime a treat, remember one morning we had a lot of bananas so Rudy decided to make banana pancakes that were a big hit. one other time we had and excessive amount of canned milk , so he made hot chocolate, best I've ever had. He was really great guy to work with and allways had a joke. my sympathies to Rudys families Cliff Miller

Rudy learned a lot from my dad about baking..He had the old Sea Mart Bakery where I had my first real job. Got to know him and his family while working there in the early 60s. I can still remember some some of the things we used to talk about that made a lot sense to a not so smart teenager. Sorry to see him go. Bill Sapp
