Was glad we got to speak on the phone today before the service. So wish we could have been there for you today, but we are in spirit and in love. Tim and I are so grateful to be "friends" with both of you thru the years. We did stuff outside the bar that was the highlights of our lives together as friends. Never forget all the RV and camping trips we took together. Never forget the Sunday drives together, especially the trip to the backside of Mt Rainier. Remember the waterfall Bruce :) haha! But know we love you dearly and will always be friends. I can imagine Grant and also Miles will be talking away for days to come. Love you!

Today, as I get ready to celebrate your life and the memories we shared over 38 wonderful years, I think of all the people's life you touched and helped with your sense of humor and laughter, the things you did for people over your life before and after meeting me, your life partner. But most of all I sit here thinking about us and the great life you gave to me as a young man, the lessons learn and the mistake I made along the way. You always believed in me and the things I was afraid to try, you were not afraid to let me know that I had and have the smarts to do anything, if I was willing to put the time into it. You were one great teacher. I look forward to keeping your memories alive in all the things and places we shared over of life of true love. Grant thanks for my life of love with you and I will always be thinking of you in my life as I go some difficult times, but with you looking down over me, My Heart will go on.

Well let's see ..I first met Grant and Bruce in lets say 1974 or 75 I was only 9or 10 lol
But you never forget when 2males help your Mom pic out your first bra....
Yes my mother Sandy was a friend , I was a tag along....
To the most awesome poolside dinners,Cool Houses and cool stuff I had ever seen at 9 yrs old ....Grant with those Crystal blue eyes and his 200 suits with roses that he grew the sizes of softballs ( it was the coffee grounds ) lol Starbucks eat your heart out ....
They were and will always be magical,Bruce Lol in those days only wore those ( Bruce Jenner shorts) Very fit and tan He was big brother, always stuck as my babysitter ...I loved them both so much . I had no father ....they made up for that ..
Grant you old fart I will miss you....I will try to put the pieces back together of Bruce
But a love like you two have..... I don't think it's possible..
Thank you for teaching me young what love is....man women Whatever with my mom just now on her 7 divorce ...
You two showed me what feelings , a bond and caring for each other really was.

Grant - most usually, as your brother, everyone wants a favorite story. For me there are no "favorite times". All times with Grant were "favorite". He always lit up a room when he was there - even when, as a youngster he sometimes embarrassed me when he would do something like stand up comedy in a restaurant, impromptu, while we were eating, and have the whole place in a roar. Eventually it became fun to watch him work a crowd and soon I was proud that this talented guy was my brother. Always the HAM, he was happiest when he was making others laugh and be happy. Stories would abound whenever the family got together. Bruce, Patty, and Dee all had to get used to turning red when we were all together. It was always good when Grant and I could get together, be serious, and just talk - yes we had those moments too. We would even cry sometimes but mostly we laughed. Grant was a wonderfully kind man, along with Bruce. Patty and I will always be thankful for all the help given us. I know you won't rest - so laugh and enjoy in Peace my brother, make them all laugh, and we'll all know where to find you. We Love You, Dave and Patty Gibson

Bruce - Since you called me to tell me of Grant's passing my heart is heavy with sadness for you and your loss. I am glad that Kristy, Jeff, my grandsons and I were able to make a trip to Washington a few years ago and spend time with you and Grant. Words can not express how my heart is hurting right now for Bruce and myself losing such a great friend. I met Grant over the phone when I first started working the road as a comedienne/entertainer. We hit it off right away and talked on the phone for two hours while he was tending bar at The Stage Stop.It was the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship that lasted until March 6 ( which was my birthday). Only Grant would pass on my birthday! He was a very special person that was one of the funniest people I knew and we had a ball trying to top each other. He was generous of his time, a true friend and believed to live your dream. He filled my heart with hours of laughter and a ton of warmth and unconditional love. Bruce and him were my friends and treated me like family. I'll never pick up a phone nor answer a phone without hearing in my head "Mildred's whore house, Mildred speaking.". while puffing a cig and making me feel warm all over. God bless you my true friend! I loved you and will miss you more that you'll ever know! :)
