Losing you was so painful mom and I wish there was anything I could have done to stop you from leaving us so soon. Even though I know life must go on I still miss you deeply and wish you were still here. Every time I look at your photos I am reminded of the loss your death brought to all of us. We miss your gentle smile and your loving care. I really just miss you mom.

Joan was my oldest sister... she loved life, loved beautiful things, loved her husband, her children, her family. She was giving to a fault, always putting everyone’s needs above her own. She had a fun sense of humor with a mischievous giggle and laugh to follow. Just like my dad she had a twinkle in her eye.... I’m going to miss that twinkle and those laughs. Love you dear sister:two_hearts:
