Cynthia Biggs

Obituary of Cynthia Marie Biggs

Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Biggs, 75, of Shelton passed away peacefully Friday, March 7, 2014 at Providence St. Peter Hospital after her battle with ovarian, and ultimately pancreatic cancer, with her family by her side. Cindy was born on June 2, 1938 to her parents Alfred and Ella H. Hall. Cindy moved to Shelton 25 years ago with her husband Paul. They built their home here in Shelton and loved their retirement together working on their property. Cindy and Paul were "book ends" living their lives attached at the hip with a love only shared by two; inseparable, undying and true. Cindy worked as a Registered Nurse for years including emergency room nursing, helping to launch one of the first vascular laboratories in Orange County. She retired from nursing approximately 13 years ago after working with Dr. Mark Trucksess in Shelton. Cindy loved gardening, canning, reading, being with her family; but, her favorite thing was being outdoors, listening to the birds, watching the flowers grow and splitting and stacking wood in the springtime! Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Hall, her father Alfred Hall and her brother Wendell "Jimmy" Hall. She is survived by her husband, Paul Biggs of Shelton, WA, her brother and his wife Doug and JoAnn Hall of Taft, CA, her son Jimmy Allen Roberts of Shelton, her daughter and her husband Laura and Frank Pinter of Shelton, her step-children Seanne Biggs of Los Angeles, CA and Shannon Biggs of Mission Viejo, CA. Cindy is survived by grandchildren Jimmy Allen Roberts, Jr., Madison Pinter, Ella Pinter, Dakota Biggs, Chandler Biggs, Montana Biggs, and great granddaughter Taelyn Jo Roberts. Cindy loved her family dearly. Her wishes were for peace and happiness to all. Cindy's life will live on in the lives she created, the lives she nurtured and those lives to come.
