Obituary of Harold Hudson Fox
It is with a heavy heart that our family would like to inform friends and family of the passing of my father, Harold Hudson Fox, Jr. He was an amazing father, family man and a loyal friend. He was so full of life, always with a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes. He had many hobbies, his favorite being fishing. He loved being outdoors and one with nature. In his high school years, he enjoyed to play football, and was even regularly noticed by the local press. He also enjoyed woodworking as a hobby, and actually won first place awards on multiple occasions. He even made a lot of great furniture for his home. He was a self-taught cook, and loved cooking for others. He was never one to follow recipes, instead he just seem to follow his heart. He was a very hard worker and took pride in his career. He began his career at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, spending time in at the shipyard in San Diego, before coming to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS). At PSNS he worked his way up to a supervisor position before retiring from the Department of Defense after 33 years. Hal always treated the people he worked around with dignity and respect. He will be greatly missed by many, and I am so lucky to be able to call him my father and feel happiness knowing he was able to touch the lives of so many.
