Jim was my big brother that I idealized as a child. He was 7 years older than but took me everywhere with him. He taught me the game of baseball and to play it at a very high level. Each time he left to go back to Camp Pendleton I cried my tears out. I loved him and felt safe with him.
The world is a better place for having him in it. His service to our country was extraordinary. Even though I was his adopted brother we were as close as real brothers. I loved him like no other. Rest In Peace big brother, it won't be long before we see each other again. Get your glove greased up and be ready for some baseball. Love You.

Jeannie, Nikki, Steve, Eric, Nancy, Tina and Patrick, you have my deepest heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your husband, father and father-in-law. Steve and Linda, Jim was your family.
He was loved by all of us. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. He was protective of those he cared for and would help anyone in need.
I know that he is no longer in pain and rejoicing in the time he is spending with those who were waiting to greet him with love and open arms. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Until we meet again, all my love.
Your little sis, Mel
