Obituary of Rosemarie Joan Huff
Rosemarie Lunger Huff, age 76 of Shelton, Washington passed away in her home with family at her side on July 1, 2018. Her daughter Deborah Foster; her grandchildren Cara Maya, Monique Battle, Zachary Foster, and Hollyanna Vopat-Steiner; her great-grandchildren Haley, Anthony, Izela, Kolbi, Jeremiah, Liam, and Alyvia; and her brothers Doug, Randy, Skip, & Jim Lunger ; and many other family members survive Rosemarie.
Rosemarie was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 27, 1941. She grew up in Pennsylvania and welcomed her beautiful daughter Deborah there. Several years later Rosemarie and family moved out to Southern California where she spent many years managing apartment complexes, before retiring to the state of Washington.
Rosemarie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, chatting with friends, helping others, and enjoying her hobbies. She was a spiritual woman and active in her church community throughout her life. She donated flowers weekly to her church, sent over 300 inspirational prayer cards monthly to family, friends, and those in need of a kind word. Rosemarie sponsored two children overseas, sending money monthly to support their needs. Rosemarie loved to crochet and would put her hobby to use by making beanie hats and blankets frequently to donate to those in need during the winter months. Rosemarie was a devoted mother & grandmother. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren playing board games, going to amusement parks, and on other fun adventures.
Rosemarie will be remembered as selfless, kind- hearted, and loving. She will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Heaven has another angel watching over the world.
A memorial service is scheduled on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Napavine Assembly of God Church located at 411 2nd Ave NE, Napavine, WA 98532. Family, friends, and others whose lives Rosemarie touched are welcome to reminisce and celebrate the great life Rosemarie led.
