Seeing today's obituary for Mr Sechler brought back some long ago memories. So sorry for the loss. My family moved to a house on 4819 Yakima Ave, I was about 7 (1952). While playing in the neighborhood I met Mr Sechler. He talked to us about safety issues and not to play in the street. If I remember correctly, he was an auto mechanic. He had a daughter Patricia who was my age. We became good friends. We only lived there for a year, but I still remember her. Mrs Sechler was also kind. She and my mother would talk all the time. I only saw Patricia one time after we moved. Again, sorry for the loss of Mr Sechler.
