Even though I didn’t know Barrie personally, I wish to express my sincerest condolences to both family and friends. Every life is precious in God’s eyes and he hates what has befallen mankind because of Adam’s loss of perfection. When Adam and Eve sinned, they brought about not only condemnation to death for themselves but for all mankind down to this day. However, in the Genesis account, God immediately provided a way out of this hopeless state of sin and death by allowing the sacrificial death of his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. What does this mean for Barrie and countless millions of dead? The Scriptures read, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out�. I hope this has brought you a little comfort in your hour of grief.
