Garret my heart is truly shattered. I cannot believe I will never get another hug or kiss from you. But baby I carry you in my heart. We are mother and son but we had the strongest most loving bond no one could break till now. I was blessed to have you for 28 years. You brightened my life and knew me better than anyone. Your unconditional love, your compassion, your beautiful heart, your beautiful smile - I was proud to be your mom. I will always treasure those times where we would do silly, silly things that no adult would ever do. But we did and boy did we have fun. I will not say goodbye son, I will see you again. You know how very much I loved you.

Garret, I still can see your smile and your contagious love you had for everyone. You loved your family so much and you’ll be forever missed. I wish I could have told you one more time how much you meant to all of us. I’d like to think your in heaven living the life you’ve always dreamed and looking down at us knowing how much you meant to us all. We could have never imagined this could happen to you at such a young age and we’d have to live life without you; it’s the most difficult thing ever.
