I am so very sorry to hear of Paul's passing, as are his grandsons, Christopher and Adam Baldwin. I have know Paul since 1983 when I married Christine's son, Rick. Although our marriage did not survive, Paul was a good friend these many years, and a terrific, supportive grandfather. He loved his family very much, and talked about them often when we talked on the phone or met in Shelton or Olympia for lunch. I have been remiss these past months, thinking about him often and meaning to call, only to find his home number disconnected and his cell reassigned. Blessings to David, Sandy and Gregg, and all who loved Paul. He will be greatly missed.

I have known Paul since the formation of our "Peninsula Art Association ", nearly 30 years ago. We shared many talks, and I never asked his opinion if I didn't want to hear it - we agreed on so many things, hard work, growing gardens, inspiring art, and service to others. Paul gave me art supplies to use, and share with others in the art club who needed them, helped other artists learn to cut mats and frame . His time in Korea was miserable, but a learning experience... time with Rainier lab, a time of making life-long friends also. I will miss our talks , still have his phone number memorized..,,, sad not to be able to call and chat.

Bruce and I are very saddened by Paul's passing. We are so glad that we were able to visit with him several times in the last couple of months before he left us. He was not only my step-father, but a great friend whom we loved dearly. We will miss him greatly.

I'm so glad I was able to talk with Paul the day before he left us to be at rest. We had many years of good friendship, coffee times, & general visits. We had many good laughs, I will miss him.:blush:. Lloyd McHargue.
