I first met Jamie in high school while working at Dairy Queen and we quickly became friends. While she was smart, pretty, kind and many other things, but what stood out to me most about Jamie was her sense of humor. I ran into her at the grocery store not long ago and we still continued to call each other by our silly nicknames that we gave to each other back in high school. She always made me laugh and always greeted me with a smile. Over the years I loved exchanging messages with her, talking about our families, the struggles of motherhood and adulting in general. No matter what difficulties were going on in our lives, she would always lighten the topic with her fantastic sense of humor. Jamie was an amazing person. A supportive and dependable friend that would always make time for you if you needed her. And she was loving wife and mother that cared for her family very deeply. Jamie will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to David, McKenzie and Drake. RIP Woody. Gone but you will never be forgotten.

I grew up with Jaime. We are the same age, graduated in the class of 2000. We enjoyed singing together in high school. I travelled and got married had a family and got divorced and returned home to sub as a teacher in the district in 2011. I saw Jaime again at SHS and she showed me the ropes. She was the heart beat there for sure so kind, all-knowing, and helpful. I often helped her understand the students who didn't speak English and she helped me find my classes. I came to SHS the Friday before that weekend to visit a friend in the Office and got to talk with Jaime again and see the new space. She was and is a shining light, I send her family and Friends peace and strength.

Jamie was the heart of Shelton High School. Her pride always shined bright and her love was never doubted. Jamie was the go-to person for all things. She helped everyone with a smile on her face no matter the question or situation. Jamie taught us so much. The Highclimber family misses Jamie dearly. We are hoping to make her proud as we settle in to our new facility that she helped plan. Jamie's kindness will always be with us.
