Stacie Lee Kelsey will never be forgotten by us. During my career at WSDOT, she was a beacon of kindness, caring, compassion, and all those good qualities in life that made coming to work, for me, everyday fun, rewarding and productive. She was a fabulous person to have for a work supervisor. She had the patience of a Saint explaining work procedures and processes to me. Stacie took the extra time, due to my communication challenges, to make sure I understood what she needed from me so our team could get that environmental engineering work done on time for all projects. We always had fun, with lively chats, as we drove to review the status of on-going construction sites. My wife and I had wonderful, fun chats with Stacie at the Olympia Farmers market. We will miss her, for now. Our sincere condolences and sympathies to the family of Stacie Lee Kelsey.
And we look forward to bumping into Stacie in the after life. Indeed! Phillip & Kathi Ambrosino

Stacy was a bright light in my life! Her smile and laugh were so uplifting and encouraging! She knew when to do them both to give warmth and comfort to those around her. My favorite memory is one where we both saw someone that needed prayers. In that moment, we were able to stop and pray together claiming God’s promise of being with us “where two or three are gathered. The next day, we saw the fruit of our answered prayer. Wow! God is so good! I am grateful for Stacy’s presence in my life and I look forward to sharing her memory with others by being an encouragement along this journey of life!
Hugs and Prayers,
Lindsey Reid

It's been 3 weeks since we received the worst news of our lives. Stacie, not a day goes by that we don't think of you. We shed some tears, we share some laughs and we think about how blessed we were to have you as a daughter, a sister, an aunt. The outpouring of support and love runs deep. You were so very loved, by so many people. We would give anything to have you back. We will love and miss you forever and always. Rest easy sweet sister. - Cath

Stacie and I were friends and cheerleaders together in high school. In remembering her, I think of her energy and positivity but most especially the ever-ready smile on her face with a laugh in the chamber ready to go. I count myself lucky to have known and been friends with such a fun, good person. We lost touch over the years but from reading her beautiful life story I can see the fun, sweet young Stacie I remember became a fun, joyful remarkable woman who positively impacted many people's lives. Heaven is a little brighter with her in it. I pray God brings comfort to her family in the season ahead.

Love that girl!!! We bowled together in the WSDOT bowling league. She was an ever sparkling light in my life ... even though I left Olympia in 2005. I will forever miss her "chickadee" endearing term ... my heart breaks for all she touched, knew and loved ... see you on the otherside ... Dar ...
