We first met kitty in 1960 when I (Jim) and Ken were both working for the then Boeing Airplane Company. Our kids, over the years, were similar in age. Ken and Kitty were the God Parents for our middle daughter Suzanne, and we were the God Parents a few months later for their only daughter Suzanne. After our working careers ended, we found ourselves being neighbors in the Gold Creek community in Tumwater. We always knew Kitty as a warm and caring person, and passionate in the love for her immediate and extended family, and for her pets. We will miss Kitty dearly.

I am so grateful that my aunts married into family has been so love and welcoming to us and that we were so lucky to know Grandma Kitty and her love. Grandma Kitty always loved and treated my brother and I as if we were her own grandchildren. And even this past summer when they boys went down south for a week, we welcomed them into her home, loved on them, played with them and let them walk the dogs and play the piano. We will always share such fond memories of Grandma Kitty and will miss her presence here on earth. But we know she will always be watching over us. :two_hearts:

I worked with Kitty many years ago at the Dept of Natural Resources. In recent years, I would see her at the Tumwater Fred Meyer, most recently in September. She always had a smile and her laugh was contagious. We always spent a few moments catching up on our lives. My condolences to her family. She will be missed.

Ken and Kitty have been our next door neighbors for 19 years, and they have been great and kind in every way. Every now and then Kitty would say “Love ya “ She always had a way of warming my heart. I will miss her very much.
