Obituary of Herbert Joseph Andrews

Herb was born and raised in the Seattle Washington area. As a young man he was an artist but when it came to his profession, auto body was his true calling. He lived in many different states throughout his adulthood, but settled in Oregon state for approximately 30 years. It is there he met his beloved wife Gloria, they made a beautiful life together. They enjoyed camping, bird watching, and traveling , always side-by-side. When our Lord Took Gloria to heaven to live with him in May 2019, Herb then moved back to Washington state to be near family. Herb was loved and cared for by family and friends during that time, until he passed on January 8, 2020 , and joined his wife Gloria and our Lord and Savior in heaven. He is greatly missed. Herb is survived by his brother Wayne Andrews, his sister Lorraine Dunavant, his daughters, Cherie Laybourn, Lisa Anderson, Joni Wilson, son-in-law Lanny Wilson, and Stacey Pollard, grandchildren, Michelle and Richard, Joshua and Kim, Jennifer and Jacob, Michael and Stephanie, Brandon and Jessica, Caitlin, Cramer, Hailey, Payton, Jackson and Mason, his great grandchildren, Corbin, Elijah, Lilyanna, Olivia, Keira and Declan. He is also survived by Gloria’s children, Michael, Daryl and Jason and their families . A memorial service for Herb will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1212 Connection St., Shelton, WA 98584 On Saturday, February 29th at 1:00pm.
