Obituary of Ern M Brown

Ern Mart Brown, Jr. Ern Mart Brown, Jr., age 95, passed away on February 7, 2020, in Shelton, WA, of cancer. He was born November 6, 1924 in Glenco, MO, to Ollie (Jeffries) Brown and Earn Mart Brown, Sr. Ern was a commercial/house painter, and a log truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, singing, playing the guitar and harmonica. Over the years he played and sang at the local assisted living facilities. He was involved in many of the Matlock community events: food bank, church and working with the Old Timers Fair. Over the past few years Ern was a proud member of the Shelton Senior Center, where he frequently played cards and enjoyed the company of fellow members. He is survived by his sister Nina (Bob) Wilson; sister-in-law Mary Jane (Bill) Davis; children Beverly Swift (Scott Busack), Judy (Bob) Neumann, and Mike (Shirley) Brown; step-children Gwen (Jack) Avery, Carol (Loren) Schmidt, and Irene (Ted) Faver. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Ern is preceded in death by wife Rose Brown, wife Marjorie Brown, and sons Edward Ern Brown and James Lee Brown.
