Obituary of Mary Ardela Austin

Mary Ardelia (Moran) Austin 6/8/1918 - 3/1/2020 Born at home in Shelton to parents Tom and Delia Moran, she married Shelton resident, Emery Austin on the 3rd of July, 1941. Together, they ran Austin Towboat Company towing fuel and cargo around Puget Sound and SE Alaska, Austin Trailer Center in Gorst, a Timothy hay farm in Ellensburg, commercial salmon trolling on the Washington coast and SE Alaska, and Lakeside Tractor Service and Landscaping in Shelton, before retiring to Christmas Village in Shelton. At various times they lived in Shelton, Tacoma, Olympia, Shelton, Port Orchard, Ellensburg, Trails End Lake, Port Orchard, Spencer Lake, and Christmas Village. Mary had a daughter, two sons, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Mary loved them all and loved any chance to laugh. She was our Mom.
