Obituary of Dennis Malcolmb Goetz

Dennis M. Goetz, 80, died on April 10, in Olympia. He was born December 3, 1939 in Beulah, North Dakota to Samuel Goetz and Emma Schwartzmann Goetz" Dennis served in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and retired after 20 years. He then took a course for furniture and auto upholstery and worked for severalyears in the business & recently retired. He was married to Martha Ruth Goetz and they had 3 children. Keith Allen, Shana Lynne, Kimberli Danette. Grandchildren of that marriage were : Josh & Brandon Goetz, Shyanne & Savanna Chandler. He was Married again to Andrea L. Bailey Rodgers who also had three children from a previous marriage: Kimberly Rodgers, Karen L. Rodgers & Jeffrey D. Rodgers. Grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Jennifer, Heather, Elizabeth, and 7 Great grandchildren. Dennis was involved in old cars and belonged to several car clubs. His passion was remodeling old cars. He had at the time of his death: 1940 Chevy, and a\947 sedan delivery. He won several trophies and awards at shows in the northwest. He belonged to Faith Lutheran Church in Shelton for 40 years. He loved trips to the ocean, car shows & family get-togethers. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Samual & Emma Goetz & sister - GiGi .His niece Fran gi is living in California. Dennis was a very kind, caring, loving husband, father, grandpa, neighbor and friend. He will be missed.
