I first met Amy when we were students at Harrison Jr. High School in Albuquerque. I was new at the school and in the girl's locker room after P.E. class this huge bully-girl was trying to pick a fight with me. I looked around and found the biggest girl I could find and ran behind her and whispered, "Save me!" Amy stepped up and protected me and soon became my best friend. After we had known each other for a while she found a picture in my wallet and wanted to know who the good looking guy was. My boyfriend? I saw who she was looking at and laughed. "That is my brother!" She said she wanted to meet him and I told her, "No, you don't!" "Oh, yes, I do!" Well, she did and the rest as they say is history... After all the years that we have been sister-in-laws, Amy was always first and foremost, my friend.

I met Amy while she was still in school and dating Bart. They introduced me to my (ex) husband. We all remained forever friends all these years. I admired her for her strengths and the ability to make something out of nothing ! She took everything in her stride and without complaint. Much love to the family. She was very lucky to have all of you !

This will be the hardest mother's day weekend ever!!!!! Just never thought I would be without you. How you drove me crazy putting up with dad all the time . I really thought we were going to do all kinds of crazy stuff together when we were old. Never thought you would give up and chase after dad,but I guess you needed him. Love you :kissing_heart: hope you have him a punch in the arm for me.
