Obituary of Peggy Louise Williams
Peggy Louise (Thomas) Williams - November 15, 1938 - May 3, 2020
Peggy Williams passed away peacefully in the presence of her sons at St. Peter’s Hospital, in Olympia, WA. She was born in Anacortes Washington to Alfred and Dorothy (La Fleur) Thomas on November 15, 1938. She graduated from Anacortes High School in 1957. After graduation, she attended Skagit Valley College in Mt Vernon, WA. In 1959, she married Albert “Sonny” Williams, of Lead, South Dakota, when he was stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. After Sonny’s discharge from the Navy, he and Peggy moved back to South Dakota so that Sonny could complete his college education. While in South Dakota, Peggy gave birth to their two sons, Michael (of Vancouver, WA) and Christopher (of Olympia, WA). Eventually Sonny and Peggy settled down and raised their family in Snohomish, WA. After Sonny’s passing in 2019, Peggy moved to Olympia, WA to to be closer to family. Peggy was preceded in death by Sonny and her brother, Larry Thomas (of Anacortes, WA). She is survived by both her sons, their wives, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. If anyone knew Peggy, they knew what a lovely person she was and how she always maintained a positive positive outlook on life. She will be missed, but God has welcomed her into is heavenly paradise.
