Obituary of Michael Wayne Jones

Michael W. Jones (Mike), 54, of Shelton, Washington, passed away on August 3rd, 2014. He was born on October 18, 1959 in Port Townsend, Washington to Dorothy Deana Northup and Roy L. Jones. Mike graduated from Shelton High School in 1978. He worked a majority of his adult life in the Olympia area where he was married and raised a family. Mike is survived by his children, Danielle Arnold (Andrew) of Spokane Valley, WA and Jared Jones of Tumwater, WA as well as his mother Deana of Shelton, WA and his sister Wendi (Keith) of Yelm, WA. Mike was preceded in death by Frank Query (step-father) and his beloved dog Piccolo. Mike had a passion for music, sports, in particular football and soccer, movies, and family. He was filled with humor and love and shared both with those closest to him. His love of music rings loudly in the ears of his children and friends alike. He was a man that could bring a smile to anyone's face within a moment and shared honestly with those around him. He loved his children dearly and was extremely proud of all of their endeavors.
