I met Paula a couple of years ago when she came to visit her daughter Adriana here at my home. I really liked Paula and I thought she had the nicest voice. She was here two weeks before she died camping out back in our green belt. I have a real hard time whenever I look out back and see where her tent was. I'm glad I got to know her. She is really missed.

Kathy I asked Paula's daughter about that incident and she told me that Paula's mother went to the school and apparently slapped the teacher's face. I was very happy to hear that and in fact it made my day.

Paula was fearless, funny, and happy. I enjoyed her in classes, and she was a good and caring friend. RIP, my dear Paula.

I remember Paul from Valley Elementary. She was a beautiful litle girl who wore her dark hair in a pony tail. She always was well dressed and athletic. She would cock one knee over a monkey bar and twirl over and over and over with amazing ability.
I remember we had a very harsh teacher one year and for some small infraction, he slapped her face so hard he left his handprint. The injustice of it haunted me for years.
