Obituary of William R McAferty

William Roger McAferty died on June 27,2020 at the age of 84. He was born November 11,1935 in Shelton Washington where he lived most of his life. He was a Master Builder and Built many beautiful homes in Olympia and Shelton. He specialized in cabinets and fine woodwork. He built bridges for many years and he and his partner Bill McKasson received a national award for a bridge they built in Darrington. He is survived by his Wife of 45 years Sharon McAferty; Son David McAferty (Christina); Son Mark McAferty (Brenda); Red Headed Step-Child Shane Anderson; 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Brothers Pat (Pam), Dan (Patti), Mike (Linda) and Sister Ana Mae Wiles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Ed, and sisters Marceil Weist, Ella Cermak (Jerry) and Etta Parker. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
