Like others, I recall Tracy's laugh - a joyous sound indeed. After the passing of her Mother, a long-time friend of mine, Tracy visited me to thank me for my friendship with her Mom. It was a generous and loving thing for Tracy to do. I send love to all her family. Pat Baron

“I was 15 when Tracy was born, and when I saw her at one day old I thought she was the most beautiful baby I’d ever seen. She grew into a beautiful woman with so much to offer, which she did, to everyone. She was sincere and compassionate, sharing and caring, and always ready with a laugh. These are the last photos I have with the 2 of us, at Chihuly Garden and Glass in 2013. It was pouring down in a typical Seattle summer deluge by the time we were ready to tour the outdoor garden; Tracy insisted that we do it anyway, and here she is smiling under the big Sunburst - it so reminds me of her. The 4 of us had a lovely day despite the rain, and there were many other happy moments on our all-too-infrequent visits. She also knew how to pick a good IPA, and we reckon the Kegerator had to be one of her best ideas! We will always remember her with so much love. Naomi and Tom."

I had the pleasure and honor to work with Tracy in her classroom at Horizons Elementary for several years. As a new math coach in North Thurston, she welcomed me warmly and shared her class with me unselfconsciously as we collaborated and learned (and laughed!) together. Tracy's passion for learning was contagious; her students loved to learn because she loved to learn. She was respectful of her students and held high expectations. She refined the asking of open questions and created an extraordinary learning environment for young children where they would often use powerful vocabulary to explain complex thoughts and strategies. Her spark, joy, humor and love of people will be remembered by all who knew her. I send my deep condolences to her beautiful family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Remembering Tracy Gregorius as…
Teacher…how she loved and cared for her children at school. I had the privilege of volunteering in her classroom at Horizons. I was amazed how she knew at all times what the children were doing, what book they were reading, while letting them know they were doing a good job. She had a way of praising people and you knew she meant it. We saw how she spend many evenings, correcting papers and planning for the next day.
Mother...how she planned family events so that the two boys and the two girls became a family with her and Mark. What a gift for the children and for us too.
Wife…how she planned special ways to celebrate Mark’s birthday. How she brought joy to their life together.
Daughter…how she cared for her mother in her illness at the end of her life
Grandma…she was such a good grandma and helped me be a better great grandma. She invited me to join her and Brooke to see the Nutcracker. . How she sat on the floor in the living room after dinner and played with the little ones
Friend….how she cried when her good friend Paige died.
Daughter in law…how we loved her, loved her as a daughter.
We are thankful that we knew and loved Tracy,
Judy, Mother in Law

I’ve known Tracy and family all my life. Our parents were best friends in Canada and then we were next door neighbors in Michigan. I will always remember Tracy’s laugh and also one of my favorite memories of her is how when walking to school on the first day each year with her brand new shoes on, she would clickity clack those shoes all the way to school, she was so excited to be on her way to another year and so proud of her shoes.. I’ll miss her greatly and remember her always.

Tracy and I had a lot in common. We both liked nice and expensive things. We particularly liked luxury hotels and B&B’s. Both of us became cleaver around keeping our spouses from knowing the actual cost. Mark would give Tracy a budget, and like me, we found ways to exceed it.
Another thing that bound us together was Key Lime Pie. Tracy craved my Key Lime Pies and fully expected one whenever we were together. First thing she checked when she came through the door was if I had a pie in the refrigerator. Sometimes I would tease her by hiding the pie or saying I didn’t have time to make one. One time I gave her all the ingredients so she could make her own, but she insisted that mine was much better so she never made it.
Tracy and I both had a motto which was “never put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Tracy never had unfinished business because she kept on top of everything. She had been given a gift of endless energy. Although her life was much too short, she accomplished more than most of us do in a lifetime.
Tracy was an organizer and got people around her to get involved. She always volunteered in the various neighborhood that they lived to bring them together for social events. I called her a “work horse and at times I encouraged her to slow down.
She brought our son Mark endless happiness. Together, they were a remarkable team. Tracy leaves us with endless stories to share.
Tracy was “Our Candle in the Wind.
Love, Dean (loving father in law)

Tracy was a wonderful, generous, lady with a big heart and big laugh. She was the life of the party and brought the party to Luna Court. So many fun times where had in our party room and all because of Tracy (and Mark too!) There will be no one like her. My deepest condolences go out to her family. She will be sorely missed.
