Obituary of Ronnie Louis Sturdevant
Ronnie Louis Sturdevant passed away in his home December 25, 2020. With his wife of 46 years, by his side and surrounded by loved ones when the good lord called him home.
We lost an amazing husband, father, grandpa/great grandpa, brother and best friend. To all who knew him, he will be forever missed and life will not be the same without him. He will always be watching over us.
Ronnie was born December 29, 1949 in Olympia, WA to Evelyn (Morgan) Sturdevant and Robert “Pard” Sturdevant. He joined the Navy at the age of 18 and served in Vietnam.
Ronnie was employed as a logger, truck driver and a mechanic. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Riffe) Sturdevant of Rochester, WA; his daughters: Tina (Rick) Boss, Raymond, WA; Tammy (Bill) Tresenriter, North Dakota; Trieva (Tonya) Pratt and Tonya Sturdevant, Rochester, WA. He is also survived by his brothers: Steve (Donna) Sturdevant, Olympia, WA and Jim (Connie) Sturdevant, Arizona, his sisters: Roxie (Frank) Ottenbacher, Oregon, Mary (Dave) Brittinen, Hoquiam, WA and Doris (Frank) Sturdevant, Shelton, WA, his grandchildren: Kyle, Natasha, Ronnie, Trevor, Tylor, Randy, Aaron, Joseph, Sarah and Jeannie, his great-grandchildren: Brooke, Kali, Harlen, Kennedy, Burke and Lukas. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by both his parents, 2 granddaughters, 2 nephews, 1 niece and 1 great nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this year.
