Obituary of Neva E McLemore

STRONG, not just a road she resided on, but who she was. Born January 17th, 1944, Neva was a native of Shelton and a 2nd generation of Norwegian Sheltonians that immigrated and homesteaded in Shelton in the 1890’s out in the Agate area. She was a force, with a will to live stronger than most. “Sweet Neva”, is what almost everyone would have to say who came to know her. A Teacher to many over the years, she loved teaching primary school children the most. She was Reliable and had Outstanding loyalty to her family, friends and community. Her innate Nurturing nature led her to want to marry and raise a large family. She Genuinely loved and is survived by her husband, 6 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild unconditionally for her entire life. Neva enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, and baking for her family and friends, but most of all spending anytime with her family which brought her the most joy throughout her life.
