Obituary of Audrey Ann Aylward

Audrey Ann (Wiesemann) Aylward. Audrey Ann Aylward 92 passed away February 21, 2021 in the loving arms of family. Audrey recently moved back to Olympia Washington celebrating her 92nd birthday this past New Year’s Eve. Audrey was born December 31, 1928 in Peoria, IL the daughter of the late Otto and Caroline (Koeppel) Wiesemann. Audrey had a long professional career and had an active retirement. She had a strong family centered focus and was devoted to raising her family in Illinois. Upon retirement she lived in three states, Washington, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and was active with family and grandchildren at each location. Audrey was an avid reader and card player. She was a mentor to many, including members of her extended family and nieces and nephews. Audrey valued family and friends above all and made them first and foremost in all she did. Survivors include her three grown children, Thomas Goodfellow Aylward, Anmarie Aylward and Elizabeth Dionne, their loving spouses and seven grandchildren. In addition to Audrey's husband, Tom, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia “Ginny” Fox and brother Robert Wiesemann.
