Rock Erdahl

Obituary of Rock Linden Erdahl

His journey began on October 11th, 1956, in Bremerton, Washington. He was a devoted Dad, to Quincy and Emily, and loving Papa to his grandchildren, Mila, Bryson, and Jax. Rock loved his family beyond measure. He is survived by his 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Teri, Jane, and Kristin, as well an abundance of friends and extended family. Everywhere Rock went he made friends. He had a passion for sharing his knowledge. It showed through his career as a Mechanic. He was generous with his time and skills, always lending a hand to a friend or family member in need. He was kind and welcoming to every person he encountered and never met a stranger. He had a heart for connecting with others, no matter their position in life. He was a man that could do anything, fix anything, or create anything. A man of many talents, and endless projects. When he was younger he was known for his artwork, and drawings. As a Father he was known for all the special things he built and created on the family farm for his daughters. In recent years he filled his time with finding and refurbishing old toys and trinkets for his grandchildren. His imagination was endless. Rock was always up for adventure, he loved to explore, hunt, and trap. Rock loved animals, especially his loyal companion Thor, a 220lb English mastiff who never left his side. We will greatly miss Rock’s sense of humor, and playful nature, he kept those around him in laughter constantly. Above all Rock was a man of unwavering faith in the Lord. He knew the Bible front to back and could recite any verse by memory. Often using his extensive knowledge of scripture to comfort and encourage others. Rock was called home by Our Heavenly Father, February 28th, 2021. “Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.” A memorial for Rock will be held at 1:00pm, on Wednesday April 7th, at Grace Bible Church, located at 7070 Bethel Burley Rd SE, Port Orchard, WA 98367 With a reception to follow.
